Sarah Hobbs

Sarah Hobbs is an engaging and highly qualified business and leadership training consultant, with a background in accountancy and consultancy.  Sarah studied languages at university and found finance as difficult as anyone could, so brings a refreshingly light-hearted and practical approach to teaching it.  She is passionate about learning and development and loves to help leaders gain clarity and improve their effectiveness.

Sarah qualified as a Chartered Accountant at PwC in London where she gained solid business experience in many different types of industry – from banks and pension funds to advertising agencies and global retail groups.  Sarah worked in both PwC’s Audit and Corporation Tax departments, before moving into Learning and Development with the firm.  There she facilitated many programmes for PwC, both internally and for clients globally. 

Sarah has worked with a variety of clients facilitating leadership programmes, as well as financial and commercial awareness training, across all levels of seniority in large and small organisations, in the private and public sectors.  She has worked with organisations such as the HMRC, Ince & Co, PwC, DLA Piper, Knight Frank, Norton Rose Fulbright, Dialog Semiconductor, the NHS, The Royal Shakespeare Company, Honda UK, GPE plc and the Trade Remedies Authority.  She is also a coach for directors and senior leaders.

Sarah has an MA in French and German from Cambridge University.  As well as being a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, she is a qualified Insights Discovery Practitioner and Licensed Distributor, NLP Practitioner, Certified Coach and MBTI Practitioner.  Sarah is also accredited to deliver Patrick Lencioni’s ‘Five Behaviours of a Cohesive Team’ programmes.  She is a trustee for Steel Warriors, an anti-knife crime charity based in London.
